| - A childhood classic that lost many locations back in Markham/richmond hill. I always get the classic donut. It's lighter than air and very nicely balanced between sour and sweet. No, it's not sour because it's rotten and nasty. It's sour because there is sour cream glaze. It is good. I don't even know why I am writing a review for Krispy Kreme, who hadn't been to Krispy Kreme before?
The other donut I got is the apple fritter. This was dense, unlike the original donut. But don't me wrong, dense just means there more to every bite and every bite is more rich! The apple fritter tasted like a real apple fritter. Some people like this donut toasted slightly but some people don't mind eating it cold or at room temperature. Both are awesome for me!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Krispy Kreme. It is cheap, beyond delicious, decor is nice, location is great. Good air conditioning, nice staff, great donuts, tv, ah... Heaven.
It is also very close to UofT and exam centre (yes, I had this place. And yes, for those people who don't go to UofT, this exam centre looks exactly like a prison from the outside and inside). When you come out of there this is the first place you should go!
