I'm not really big into ice cream (on account of it being unhealthy and contain lactose), but I like it. I've been taken here a couple of times to get ice cream and though I had never heard of this place before, it is immediately apparent that it is just like Cold Stone Creamery that I'm familiar with, but not quite as good. I say this because the people working don't seem to be as interested in helping customers with creating great flavor combination or recommendations (things I've come to expect from my Cold Stone experiences and would be appropriate considering the nature of the store). Friendly enough, but not informed or helpful. The quality of ice cream and toppings also don't seem to be as good, but still good enough to get your ice cream fix satisfied.
It's pretty good ice cream and they have lots of flavors (including my favorite: peanut butter) that are hard to find elsewhere. The topping selection is a little above average, and they have hot fudge...so all considered it's a pretty good ice cream shop. I've been to several better shops, but no others in Toronto so I don't know how it compares around here. I can tell you that it's quite expensive for what you get in quantity, quality, and service...in line with Toronto's general mantra of "pay more, get less".
