  • Discovery Place has been around for decades. Yesterday's visit with my daughter was my first in years, and I left with mixed feelings. While it's certainly a cool place, clean, updated since my last visit, and with IMAX theaters in place, it's more for the nearing teen age child. My five year old had fun no doubt, but it was a bit of a struggle to do so. You have a play room for that age child, but you can get that at any children's museum. If your kid is anywhere north of 8 years old, they'll have a blast! Under that age and it might be a more hands on from you to make it a great time!
