  • I purchased a room at the princess for my Birthday weekend and was unimpressed and very disappointed. I gave a three star rating because I loved my room. The service however was terrible. Upon arriving there was no place to park so check-in, the attendants gave confusing directions on where to go if your weren't taking advantage of the $20 valet parking. I finally just parked on a curb and walked in. Upon entering there was a line that stretched across the entire lobby and there were big unleashed dogs just roaming around barking and sniffing at people. It was practically a zoo in there. I finally get to the front and I was trying to listen to the guy at the front desk however the child of the lady beside me also checking in kept hitting me. No fault of the resort but it just added to my already negative experience. My room was already fully paid as I had purchased a deal on Groupon, however I was advised they would be holding $100 for "Any Incidentals." Mind you it was actually $120. I finally get checked in and as I'm heading to my car a different parking attendant asked me if I needed directions to my room as the property is huge. I of course agreed and he proceeded to tell me my room was very easy to get to and directed me around the corner to their side lot. So we drive around the corner, park, grab our things and start to head to the room. Unfortunately he did not advise me that my building was directly behind the lobby. There were signs for all the other buildings except the one I was in. It took us 45 minutes of walking and driving around the 40 acre property just to locate our room, we spoke with 6 people who worked there, and none of them had a clue where our room or building was. We finally stopped a gentleman in a cart driving around two kids and asked for directions. Finally someone who knew something, he asked me what room I was in and gave me exact directions to my door. I was very impressed with him and grateful. Unfortunately my negative experience didn't end there. I called to see if I needed to visit the front desk to check out and was advised that I didn't need to and could just leave and would be emailed the final receipt from my stay. Although the $120 hold was removed I was still charged a random $20 charge and never received an email from them explaining what it was for. Although the Resort is absolutely stunning, as I stated before the service was terrible and I doubt I will ever return.
