  • The service at Taco Guild was really good. I went with my boyfriend yesterday at 5pm and we were seated right away. They served us nachos that were nice and warm with 4 choices of sauces. I ordered 3 tacos (al pastor pork, pork adovada, Yucatán shrimp) that got me a free side (I chose salad). My boyfriend ordered a burrito and he also got the free side salad. I'm a picky eater and I'm not a fan of onions and cilantro so I asked for the cilantro on the side for the pork adovada. Our server, Candice, mentioned that the cilantro was mixed in with the pico and that the al pastor pork taco also had cilantro. I told her it was fine to leave it in if it was too complicated. When the tacos arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that she had remembered to separate out the cilantro for me. My favorite taco was the al pastor pork. The pork adovada was a bit dry so that was my least favorite. The Yucatán shrimp taco was good but I didn't find it as satisfying as the al pastor pork taco since it felt like it was mostly slaw. In the end our server Candice was able to get us a to-go container for one of the nacho sauces that we really liked. Overall my experience at Taco Guild was great. It was my first time seeing a restaurant in an old church building which made for a unique experience. The service and food were great.
