The first time I went to MBCo was when it first opened, in 2006 or 2007.
I recently went back for a quick lunch. There are things that did not change (over-priced sandwiches) and there are things that changed (food quality and cleanliness).
I had a Croque-Monsieur, which basically was a sandwich with boiled eggs, ham and cheese. I washed it down with an SP Aranciata. The whole thing came out to $15. Really?
The bread was good. It was well toasted and there was a nice texture to it. The ingredients were not that special. Overall, I don't really know why it had to cost $15.
As for the place, it is small but sufficient. The only problem I had with it was that the minimalist all white decor was great in 2007, still great now, but without proper maintenance the white decor is now grey. Maybe it's time for a fresh coat of paint?
