| - I'm not someone who often writes reviews unless I feel very strongly about a particularly business or entity. That said, I have to give credit where credit is due. I took my beloved Cutie here for the first time today, and the entire visit was fantastic. The front desk girls and the tech were very friendly to me and Cutie both. Dr. Ciminello was wonderful with Cutie and helped put both of our minds at ease. We just scheduled an appointment for a checkup and annual vaccines, and I have been concerned about her teeth. She's now scheduled for dental work next week. They went ahead and took care of all the pre-op testing... Labs, xrays, ekg, and gave us the antibiotics...all in one visit, even though the appointment was originally for just vaccines and checkup. Also, they were all very gentle with handling her, and she didn't seem a bit afraid of them, even after getting poked and prodded. I am very grateful to have found Countryside, and I'm sure Cutie is too!
Side note - I had been putting off getting the dental work done because I simply couldn't afford the cost that I'd previously been quoted by another vet (approx $450 not including extractions, price including 10% discount). Much to my relief, Countryside offers very reasonably priced wellness plans to help make things more affordable. In fact, the cost of just today's visit, pre-discount, would have been more than I'll end up paying for the whole plan over a 12 month period. If you are looking for more specific numbers, here's a breakdown example. The visit today (exams, bloodwork, ekg, xrays, meds, vaccines) would have been $890+ without the plan. The discount was around $765... and the total cost of the plan paid over an entire year is around $850 (around $70 a month). Definitely worth looking into for your furry kids!
