  • We tried to get in a few times before finally lucking into an empty table on a Saturday afternoon. The reviews for this place were impressive and we had high hopes! I soon came to find out why it was always packed: it takes forever. I don't want to take away from the quality of the food. The meals are delicious. Vegan. Creative. Fresh. I loved the eggs with spinach and pesto. Every bite was a mouth party. DH ordered the short stack of banana pancakes and I stole forkfuls. The side of fresh fruit was bursting with flavor. I enjoyed my grilled veggies so much that I ordered more. But getting the attention of our server was a challenge. There are about ten tables in the restaurant and at least two servers yet getting refills was a monumental task. He was pleasant and kindly. But not attentive. And as we sat and waited, and waited more, we noticed that few of the tables were actually moving. There is a lack of server skills that is preventing the kind of turnover that empties tables for the next customer. In the end, it was a great meal and we will be back. I just want to emphasize that if this is the norm, this delicious food comes with a price. Your time.
