| - I had the worst gynecological experience of my life visiting Dr. Matthew Moore at New Horizon's Women's Care in Chandler for the 1st (and only) time as I am new to the area. The clinic was recommended to me by a friend at work who sees Dr. Reyes Hailey there that she really likes and I had heard Dr. Villa was an excellent Dr. also. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I had to make an appointment with any available Dr., and they scheduled me with Matthew Moore (no surprise he was available). Needless to say, I found Dr. Moore to be extremely condescending to me (in front of a male medical student following him around) about my female related issues. He was argumentative with me about my health considerations rather than having a reasonable discussion, Dr. to patient. In fact, after explaining haughtily to me about his "12 years of schooling" making him the expert, he then made an insulting remark that he was sure that most women would like to come to the Dr. and tell him what to prescribe for them. I was there for a renewal of a prescription I have been on for 3 years. I have never been treated this way by a Dr. and actually came home crying. Due to the humiliation factor, I would NEVER recommend this Gynecolgist, Dr. Moore, to others. I had several women waiting back at work (Fortune 500 company) for my opinions as they too need to make Gyn appointments. I told them everything about my experience when I came in today. Though the Women's Center itself has have a very fancy impressive waiting room at New Horizons, with pagers, tv's, magazines, etc., the nurses were very professional and kind to me, and I have heard very good things about other doctors at this practice, however, the quality of care I was provided was FAR BELOW what is acceptable, especially with good insurance. Please prevent yourself from being humiliated and find another Gynecologist (even at this practice) that actually cares about your female issues more than his ego.
