  • Went here for lunch the other day. I have been here many times and do like it a lot. For many years this place has been voted Pittsburgh's best burger. It also has been voted the longest wait for a table. This place is known a lot. When I tell people that I am from the area, people often go "what is that place with those huge burgers". As they are using their hands, and before they finish, I say Tessaro's. Then they go "that's it!!!" I am a very very picky eater. I generally eat my sandwiches with no bun or open faced. (it is a calorie thing with me.). Granted the burgers are delicious. Granted their burgers and other sandwiches do have tons of what you ordered to be on them. Plus the bun itself is huge. You do need two hands to enjoy your sandwich with. I love the way they cook their burgers on the hardwood grill. As soon as you open the door you know that you are in the right place.
