They are busy. The staff are friendly. If they make a mistake with your order it is kind of your fault because the prep line is set up to take direction from you. As a picky eater I am aware of this and don't have any issues. We have just accepted that quantities or scoop sizes are variable (especially if you ask for smaller amounts of stuff, like less rice). We don't do call-in orders here.
I have come across a few people begging for money out front on separate occasions. I usually report them whether I feel threatened or not and the staff quickly ask them to leave. One time, after saying "no" to the request for money, I asked if the guy wanted a bean burrito and he said yes, but by the time I got back out to him someone else had already complained and the staff were asking him to leave. I wouldn't normally do that because I've had some really bad experiences that started with a request for money/information, but this man needed a bean burrito.
The reason I am posting this review is because this location has recently started participating in a pilot - no bacon in the pintos. NO BACON IN THE PINTOS. Now we can choose between black or pinto beans without meat added to them, thus multiplying the plant-based (vegan or vegetarian) options. They are delicious. Next, I am hoping that they pilot the braised tofu sofritas.
