  • Not pleased with this Barnes and Noble location. They have their electrical outlets locked, which means that people on laptops whose batteries won't last the duration of their work will need to go elsewhere. When I asked the lady behind the Starbucks counter about it, she told me that her manager locked the outlets because when people used them with their laptops, it messed up something electrical behind their starbucks counter. Wow really? They are going to lose business including mine because I cannot sit in their store for a few hours and do my homework. I can't believe I am the first person to ever leave their store because of this. Not only that, but Barnes and Noble will lose business too; not just the starbucks inside I think that it's worth a call to the electrician to get your electrical outlets to work for your customers rather than locking them up?? I was shocked when I saw the outlets were locked. I am typing this from a Starbucks across the street, less than desirable atmosphere but at least I can work without worrying about my laptop running out of power. I went out of my way to go to this Barnes & Noble and then had to leave disappointed. Dont worry B&N on Val Vista, never again!
