If ever a company should record calls, it is the RJ Obit Department.
After placing another obit last week, 2 years after my first experience, and encountering the same women "Sue", (who has the same voice and tone as Underdog Women...for those of you who know), I felt the need to write this review.
To get an obit published you must email what you want printed to the RJ. You will receive a call back from Sue, unpleasantly telling you what you can and cannot include to the point of infuriation.
So back to my second obit placement...now it's 2018 I email my short 7 line narrative and again I am called by "Sue." After her off-putting editing, I requested a Sunday only printing which appeared with my mother's name misspelled in the listing.
Upon calling the RJ and being connected with "Sue" (isn't there anyone else in the department), I stated my grievance and she immediately put me on hold. Coming back on line she blared, "the best I can do is rerun it!" No "sorry", no "how unfortunate".
This women should not be talking to customers...she should be in Hollywood doing voice work for despicable characters.
