  • I was referred to Jenni Plumber by a friend, so I was comfortable that I would be treated fairly. They came on-time and did a fine job installing my new water heater. My low 2-star rating is due to the fact that I was completely gouged on the price. I was charged $1,148.20 for a new 40 gal. unit, installation and a permit. Not only was the cost of the water heater totally overpriced, but the invoice (which I was never given and had to call twice to have emailed to me) was padded with a $200 Clark County Permit fee. I did some research after the fact, and found out that Clark County charges only $77 for the permit. The Jenni Plumber rep I spoke to on the phone said the extra $123 was for their time. Wow. To add insult to injury they never even arranged for a county inspection, nor did they have the courtesy to inform me to do so. Not ethical business practices going on at Jenni Plumber.
