  • I hadn't been to Cantina 1511 in years and am disappointed to see how much it has changed. Our waiter was a pain and did not want to tell my mom the price of the brisket that is no longer listed on the menu. After asking about 5 times and him constantly expressing his dissatisfaction with the restaurant taking it off the menu, he finally gave us an answer. My mom loved the brisket...she always does. I ordered the guacamole as an appetizer and it was yummy. You can't really mess up table side guacamole since you can tell the waiter/waitress what to add. For my entree, I had the Crab and Avocado Quesadilla. Nothing special and it came with no sides. Although it isn't listed on the menu, the quesadillas come in two sizes (small and large). I think I got the small, but who knows. Cantina 1511 used to be on my list of places to go every time I return to Charlotte but I think this will be my last time.
