| - I was visiting from Orange County for my friend's first trip in Las Vegas. We want to find a place to redo our nail getting ready for Christmas. I found several places on Yelp which had better and more reviews, but I choose this one due to the consistency in their reviews. You know when you come to the new places, you do not know who is the best nail stylist in the salon. And you are new customer so they will give you who ever available that time. This is what I am afraid for. Therefore, I choose this nail salon. They are having very good and consistency reviews. Their nail technician all got good reviews and I saw multiple name of them in several reviews. All their bad reviews sounds so untrue and unreasonable. I gave them 5 stars due after considering 5 of these criteria (location, cleanness, friendliness, skill/design and time/cost):
1. Location: Located 15 minutes from the strip. This place is perfect for any traveler out there looking for an affordable and quick place to do your nail. Try to stay away from expensive salon closer to the strip.
The place is huge, very clean, and cute. They have a huge selection of colors and designs.
2. Cleanness: My first impression for this store is SO CLEAN!!. I have never seen the nail salon which is so spacious, clean and organized like this place. They are having Christmas decoration which makes the atmosphere even better.
3. Friendliness: As soon as I entered the shop, a nice front-desk girl said hi to me. She is so sweet and welcoming. She asked me what I want to do and who I refer. I told her I am new to this place. And as soon as I told her that, she sat me down with a water and explained all the different kind of options for me very detail. For a good 10 minutes conversation, I came to the decision to do dipping since my nail is weak and so short. Then come to the moment when I met my nail's angle.
4. Skill/Design: JAKE IS AMAZING!!!. First time, I had a male manicurist so I am kind of skeptical about it. It turned out great. Jake was so so friendly and attentive, and entertained my quirky sense of humor! He was so patient on my nail. He even taught me tips how to improve my nail condition. Talking about his skills, oh my god, I never seen any guy which was so clever like him. His design is on top of the world also. Even though, I do not do anything so crazy, but his amazing skills made me feel the different. He introduced me to the new whole world of nail. He showed me what the others was doing on my nail and made my nail weaker. And the big bonus is he is super handsome LOL. My nails and cuticles are so on point. The compliments afterwards were endless!
5. Time/Cost: Despite the fact that this salon paid so much attention on me, they charged me so little for it. Jake finished the job quick and perfectly. Just a tip, bring cash to pay for your service. They do a take your name so you can comeback for refill later and even better a reward points.
I'm so glad I found Pedi Lounge N Nails on Yelp when I visited Las Vegas. I highly recommended this place to any travelers or residents.
