As a vegan who has lived in some extremely vegan-friendly cities , Montreal's most famous vegan restaurant is nice but nothing spectacular.
The positivies are that even though it is always busy, the service is very quick and friendly. The menu is huge with something for everyone, and it is very reasonably priced.
The food itself is good but can lack flavour . The salads and bowls are large and fresh, but often rely on the (pretty good) sauces for flavour. I also have had a burger which was pretty stodgy and dry, as were the wedges that accompanied it .
The best part of my meals there are the smoothies, the creamsicle is particularly good!
