Took a cab from the airport the last time in Vegas to Mandalay bay. Driver states the traffic is bad and takes alternative route. I've been to Vegas numerous times and have driven rental cars and know the layout and ya there are side streets which aren't bad.
For whatever reason the piece of human garbage driving thought it would be okay to basically take a whole loop around airport and then pass numerous rental car return signs while talking on the cell phone in some exotic language
About 20 minutes later rolls up to essentially the closest hotel to the airport and has the balls to ask for 30 dollars. Stand firm, Make a scene and let everyone know that you got longhauled and you will pay your fair share for a cab ride. Then the rest of the trip use uber.
