I hit this place up before a concert. Perfectly located next to the Orpheum and the parking garage. Blink and you might miss this place. It was Thursday night and they had half price sangria. $10 for a pitcher, definitely a deal.
We ordered 6 tapas for three people. It is easier to list them:
1. Goat cheese with crostinis. It was ok. The fact that it was not hot ruined it for me.
2. Beef empanada. Delicious, I could have eaten ten of them. Very good sized for sharing.
3. Chicken empanadas, see above.
4. Bacon wrapped chicken. Awful! Dry, SMALL, and not worth the money.
5. Margherita flatbead. So good and a great addition. It is not a stand out but a great addition and filler to the rest of the food.
6. Zucchini fries. The flavor was good but the texture threw me off. They are soft and sort of melt when you bite them. They are fried on the outside. So it is hard then liquid. I would not do this again.
We also ordered two desserts. The flan and the chocolate mousse. The flan was good, however its friend the mousse outshined it. The mousse was exquisite and perfect sized for sharing with two people.
Service is great. I would definitely check them out.
