I saw this new bakery in Yelp and and because they open earlier than the other bakeries in the Square, I decided to give them a try for a Saturday morning doughnut. I arrived at 7 AM and was greeted by part of the family that runs the bakery. This bakery is a few blocks south of the Square and definitely worth walking or driving to sample. Their case contained different types of glazed donuts that included chocolate frosted with and without sprinkles along with standard glazed donuts and an assortment of cookies, Muffins, brownies, and scones. I tried the chocolate frosted doughnut with sprinkles. It was very fresh, and attractively made. I was impressed that a single doughnut was placed in a small box that allowed the frosting to stay where it was supposed to be. The price was one dollar which I feel is competitive with other bakeries in the area and the chains. The donut was very light and not overly sweet. I was told that later in the day, cakes would be available as the early morning focus is breakfast treats. Pastries are made on site so I expect the future purchases will include the same experience with freshness.
