I don't have a problem with this theatre. The website's pretty garbage and almost never loads on Chrome, but Desert Ridge has basically been my metric for movie theatre expectations. And as those have risen, Desert Ridge has brought the improvements such as assigned seating and recliner chairs. At this point, their Dolby Cinema theatre is actually more impressive than their converted IMAX. Might want to stick to Deer Valley if you want the latter.
Otherwise it's pretty standard. It's clean and keeps up with the nationwide updates relatively early. I'm seeing a lot of gripes about pricing, but I don't think they're valid. They still accept MoviePass here, and with AMC Stubs Premiere's $5 discount, it pays itself off if you bring your family/friends once or see a couple movies a year. I just tried buying a ticket now without logging in, $5.29 is not the death of $5 matinee ticketing.
I've never had a bad movie experience here except when the movie is terrible. Desert Ridge has been pretty consistent, I give it 4/5 Emojis.
