  • North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT) is located in North Las Vegas, Nevada (About 7 miles north of downtown Las Vegas). The airport is class D airspace within KLAS class B airspace. They have 3 landing strips: 1. 12R/12L 2. 30L/30R 3. 07/25 (intersecting runway) At the main terminal, they have an excellent restaurant called "Sunshine And Tailwinds Cafe" They have several flight schools there. So if you're already a private/commercial pilot and you're just flying in, watch out for student pilots lol. West Air Aviation offers aircraft rentals. Cessna 172's, 182RG, and a few others. VGT has several maintenance shops too. Overall, I like the airport. The VFR transitioning routes are pretty cool because they take you over Red Rock Canyon & Downtown Las Vegas. Nice Airport!
