  • Being both an avid fan and a regular at Te Aro on Queen East, I had to stop in at Crafted by Te Aro last time I was on Ossington. Try new things? Sure. Try something new while still being guaranteed the same amazing Te Aro quality? BEST COMPROMISE EV-AR. I was not disappointed. My cappuccino and iced americano were both (predictably) perfect, and the baked goods selection looked similar to that on offer on Queen St.. I love how the new Te Aro outpost is identifiably 'in the style of' the Leslieville location (wooden table, slick-yet-welcoming design) and yet has its own distinctive elements, too. Nicer bathroom to boot. Yelp note: the back patio is gorgeous on a hot summer day. Though if you want a choice seat for hipster watching (it's a great spectator sport), grab a seat up front to get a view of Ossington as you sip on your drink.
