  • I've been to Grassroots twice now. The first time was not a great experience. The food I ordered was just okay. It was lunchtime and the service was rushed. The waitress seemed a little too busy for me and my client. What I ordered was just okay. With that being said, I visited once again with my girlfriend on Easter evening. The waitor we had was amazing. Very personable, easy to talk to, and definitely attentive. The food I ordered (short-tip ribs) was phenomenal. My girlfriend also absolutely loved her meal, so I guess we made the right choices this time around. Cool spot to hang out in as well! In true Scottsdale fashion, two drinks and two meals was about $80 not including tip. Definitely pricey, but we did not leave unhappy. Check it out, and if didn't like the food the first time, go back and try something else. You may be surprised like we were!
