Amazing hotel in a very convenient downtown Calgary location.
The room itself was huge! You could pretty much do backflips in it if you wanted to. The closet to hang your clothes was a little small so if you have lots to hang up that might be an issue.
The bathroom was amazing. A fantastic rainfall shower.
Bed was amazing. Great night sleep in it.
Parking itself is quite expensive in downtown Calgary. We did the valet parking which is $40. But full credit to the front desk staff who upgraded us to a special weekend rate that included free valet parking for an extra $10 (plus some extra feature that we probably didn't use of course).
I believe the rate included continental breakfast however we didn't use it as we had breakfast at a nearby diner. There is a great restaurant called Charcut on the main floor. Didn't eat there this time but have in the past - it's worth checking out if you're staying at the hotel.
Only downside was the view from the hotel... Looking directly into the office next door made for a very dark room. Not a big deal though since we weren't staying here for the view!
