  • If you are heading to Vegas from LA, you will be able see these rocks from far. It is like 20-30 mins away from Vegas and a great place to take some amazing pictures and appreciate the public art form. This is very colorful and makes it pop up in the midst of the whole barren landscape. Definitely a place to check out on your way in to Vegas or while heading out. I did see some people coming and cleaning some of the rocks as they were tarnished or someone felt the urge to scribble on the rocks. Please don't write on the rocks just because you can, let others appreciate the beauty and help keep this place of art clean and tidy! From where you park your car, you can actually see only 6 of those pillars and as you go closer, you will be able to see all the 7 of these structures. There are no restrooms here. It can get pretty crowded and so it will be difficult to get photos with no humans in it. Try going early in the morning to avoid crowds.
