I wish I could give zero stars! I will try to keep this as objective as possible. In September 14, my girlfriend and I stayed at the CopperWynd Resort for two nights in the middle of the week. When we arrived we were very pleased with the views of the mountains and how clean everything was. We figured that since the resort was empty that it would be a great stay. We were cheerfully greeted by the front desk and provided our room keys. After making our way to the room we inspected everything and were very dissatisfied with the bed. We called the front desk and requested a modern bed, with a chuckle she said nothing was available and they were aware the beds were outdated and she apologized. The next day we went to the spa and they weren't the cleanest locker rooms for a spa but were large facilities. I enjoyed my massage but my girlfriend came out of hers with bruises! The pool was nice, but too cold that week so not too much to speak on that. Finally 9:00am on the morning of our check out (which was supposed to be at noon) a staff member entered our room without knocking. You could imagine my surprise as my girlfriend was changing in the bathroom when the front door opened. The man looked in and then closed the door, a slight moment passed and he opened the door again! A few minutes later a different housekeeper knocked on the door and apologized. Now we wanted the manager to be aware that this happened. What was most upsetting was that the manager tried to rationalize this by stating that most of the guests leave early to catch flights. This has nothing to do with a resort employee walking into the only booked room in the resort! So in a matter of minutes they had managed to reverse all of the relaxation we experienced during our stay. The manager comped the room and offered a free stay at a later date, which we declined. I wished I would have read the reviews when I booked the room and saw these things prior to wasting a short and infrequent vacation here. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.
