| - 4 out of 5: Awesome, but zoo was too big, too much walking, and the ZooMobile was overpriced.
We decided to check out the zoo since we've already bought the CityPass for Toronto and the Zoo was one of the attractions included. The CityPass is so worth it! My family and I all bought CityPasses and went to 4 out of the 5 total attractions included in the passes within 2 days! (Although we were there for 5 days.)
I guess being the 3rd largest zoo in the world does tire everybody out very quickly!! We arrived a little late so we only had about 2.5 hours to run around and explore before they close for the day. We tried to see everything in the zoo, so we were moving quite fast around, but by the time we got halfway around the zoo, all our legs were very tired and we were exhausted!
We tried to take the ZooMobile to take a break and see different sections at the same time... Who knew the ZooMobile tickets per person were $8.00!! It was a little too much so, we decided to walk the rest.
We arrived back out at the main entrance just a little over 2 hours. Although we were almost speed walking through everything, we did get to stop and found most animals that were in here. We also skipped the American Pavilion (since we're from America, and have seen most of the same stuff in many of our zoos.)
I loved everything in this zoo, especially Da Mao and Er Shun (Pandas from China).
Would definitely recommend this to anybody visiting the area!! But first, get the CityPass if you're planning to visit more attractions because it was roughly $75 for an adult City Pass and the zoo was already close to $30 itself. So why not pay a little extra at first to save later when you visit other places? =)
