Went to go support my friend DJ Girl 6. I was on the guest list. The security guard, Miss Johnson was on a total power trip. She was completely inappropriate. I understand that when frequenting a pool, the attire should be a bathing suit but I wasn't planning on swimming so I wore a bikini top and normal under-roos beneath my jean shorts. She asked to see them. I adamantly responded, "No!" She said I couldn't enter if I wasn't wearing bathing suit bottoms. There are many reasons why a female would choose to wear shorts rather than a bikini, but she tried to turn me away until I explained I was training under the DJ. She "cut me some slack" (as she called it) and said I could go inside but had to check my vape for $10. She grabbed it from me and twisted wrong part of the top off while all the vape juice dripped down the electronic tank. That was $20 worth of e-juice and she's lucky she didn't do damage to the $150 base. She explained she had to smell it to make sure there wasn't any pot in it. I told her she should have asked me to do it since she didn't know what she was doing. The other security guard told me if I didn't like their policies, I could leave! They tried to get me to pay $10 to check an EMPTY vape. I thought they might have been messing with just me until I finally got to the cabana where my DJ friend was, where she explained that Miss Johnson told her she couldn't bring in her medication. She was working outside, DJing in the hot sun and wasn't allowed to bring in her medicine. That's ludicrous! I understand trying to keep drugs outside of the pool, but if she needed her medication while performing and something would've happened to her, Miss Johnson would've been to blame. This was not a great way to start what should've been an incredibly fun day. We made the best of it anyway, but will be hesitant to return in the future.
