  • Glen's Frozen Custard is open for the season. It's still a little chilly in Pittsburgh this weekend, but there was a line at Glen's. They have a cute mini golf course behind their building - but it was too cold to play, I've only ever been to Glen's before, so I wasn't sure what to order. My mom ordered a scoop of butterscotch custard and a scoop of chocolate custard in a waffle cone. She enjoyed it - she also let me try the butterscotch and it was delicious. Unfortunately, since there was a line - I wasn't sure what to order but I didn't want to hold up the line. I opted for a Strawberry milkshake. I didn't realize that it wasn't one of the fresh custard flavors. It was vanilla custard with strawberry syrup, and not the good flavored kind. It tasted fake and unfortunately I hated it. It wasn't what I was looking for - I should ordered one of their custard flavors of the day. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the Springdale area again - I'd try their flavor of the day and play a round of mini golf.
