I generally travel through terminal 3, so I'm not sure if my experience is reflected in other terminals.
This airport needs a serious update. The carpet is looking old and very 80s/90s. The food options aren't great before the security checkpoints, and they're even worse afterwards.
The TSA checkpoint here always seems to take much longer than it needs to. It crawls. Always. Prepare yourself and give a wider berth than you anticipate needing, time-wise.
If you can swing it, bring outside food (no beverages, obviously) in with you. You'll be happier and save a lot of money.
