This is becoming one of my favourite GoodLife locations. It's accessible directly from the subway, which is a big plus in the colder weather and for the sake of convenience. There's also plenty of parking for commuters and everything is located on one level (unlike the location at 4950 Yonge). The locker rooms are brand new and the club itself only opened recently, so it hasn't yet acquired the musty aroma of some of the other locations (like137 Yonge St). The place is jam-packed after 5 pm on weekdays, but weekends and mornings are not bad at all. I almost never take classes at GoodLife, but if you like Sh'bam, you should check out Steve's Monday class because he is fabulous!
I love that all the equipment is on one level and better organized than other locations, so if someone is using something, you can adapt your workout without having to make a big detour. There is also a Starbucks and Tim Hortons right across from the entrance, so you can get plenty caffeinated before you nail your workout. OR you can buy baked goods after your workout, which seems like an even more popular choice.
