| - My 2006 Audi air conditioner was blowing hot air, so I took it to these folks of July 7, 2016. They told me my compressor was out so they replaced the AC compressor, the AC Condenser, Expansion Valve, O-rings and some small other repairs to it. Total cost for parts and labor was $1,700.00. Well needless to say, when I first picked it up it was blowing cold air. But days later I noticed it was taking forever to get cool again. I took it back on three occasions. First they told me the freon was low and they needed to make some adjustments. The second time I was told I was low on freon again. The third time I brought it back, I was told the schrader valve needed replacing. All this to no avail. Air conditioner was as bad as it was when I first brought it in. After refusing to bring it back a fourth time, I decided to take it to Auto, Air and More (referral), and of course they got it right. They thoroughly tested for leaks, they had to drain the excess oil from the system that Purrfect Auto had put in and they had to replace the defective compressor, condenser, expansion valve and schrader valve that Purrfect Auto had installed. (They gave me back all the other parts that Purrfect Auto had installed). The unit works fine and blows cold air the moment you start the vehicle up until you turn it off. Paid and additional $1,473.00, but the thing works fine. Seeking reimbursement from Purrfect Auto. Their argument is that I didn't bring it back a fourth time to give them an opportunity to get it straight. Can you blame me? I'd had enough! Not sure where they get the title of their name from. They're "FAR" from perfect. Won't be patronizing this business ever again!
