First, a shout out to Dawn, Beth and Kenneth: those two are awesome. Although it's one of the nicer Targets in town (it's in a wealthier part of Henderson), the service is poor. I've noticed overall that every time I shop at this Target, typically the younger salespeople just stand around, not being particularly helpful in any way. The older salespeople are the only ones who seem hard at work. These teenagers are probably part of this privileged neighborhood and feel they're entitled to be paid for being unhelpful, useless, and thoughtless. My main complaint is that when I spend over $300 each time I'm there, I have to load my own groceries/items into my basket. The basket is usually pretty full when I leave. I'm not lazy. I'm not selfish. I just don't understand why I am bagging my own groceries and also having to rush at it when there are capable Target workers standing idly by. The staff at the cash registers will start immediately helping other customers while I am still rushing to put all my items in the basket. That's ridiculous. It's always the teens and younger people working at this store who do this. It's bad customer service and makes me not want to shop at this store. IF I shop at this Target location ever again, I'm going to look at the names of the salespeople and do another review. You DO NOT start ringing in another customer at the cash register UNTIL you are done with the current customer. It is YOUR responsibility to finish with your current customer. I asked one of the workers if it was a management decision to allow the people at the cash register to make customers bag and then load their own items into a basket frantically -- while the clerk then starts immediately ringing in another customer. I was told that 'no' it wasn't a management decision. I hope not; if it is, the manager needs to be fired.
