| - I chose to stay at the Hilton because my aunt used the Hilton frequently, so I assumed they had good taste. My family and I checked into the room just fine. Once we got up to the room, I gave the kids a bath. The water did not heat up well and was more on the cold side. I got the kids out. I called the front desk and maintenance came up. They could not fix it, so they had to come back the next morning after we left. They wanted me to take my shower things and go to another room rather than put my family somewhere else. The next day maintenance came out to "fix the issue" or at least I thought. When I went to take a shower the water was not hot. It was warm, but more on the cold with a little heat. My skin get irritated with warm water...It has to be hot. I did notice that when I turned on the shower and the sink at the same time, the sink water would get hot, but not the shower. They offered to give me points, a free movie, cookies, or something else. I should have asked for a discount off the price for the inconvenience. I will not be staying with the Hilton again. I love the Best Western and will return. Oh, the pool looked filthy. I did not plan to get in as it was too cold. Lastly, the grounds were well kept.
