I tried this place out several years ago & did not like its contract requirement & its customer service. After recently trying out another gym (Fitness 14), I wrote this review to help others avoid poor customer service.
Like most gyms, I had to sign a 12 month contract. But after a month, I had to move for a job. First, the manager played the whole "you signed a contract" game. Then after I explained that I was moving out of the state, the manager reluctantly agreed to "give me break" by charging me $180 to cancel my membership. He was sour & angry the whole time.
I am reasonable: if you want to hold me to contract then fine. But don't act like you are doing me favor by charging me $180+ for using the gym for a month. Don't have a negative attitude when all I am asking is whether you think it's fair for me to pay for a gym membership where I cannot come to because I will be in another state.
Recently, I visited my family in Vegas & needed a gym for a short time. I signed up at Fitness 14: no contract, $25 a month, & great trainers & customer service.
