The food is good here and I liked the place until the hostess just about threw us out last night because she said we had been at the table "to long". I otherwise would have given it a much better review. I met my friend visiting from Florida at this restaurant at 4:30pm last night and we did stay till 6:15 - an hour and 45 minutes. We had not seen each other in person in over 2 years so we had a lot to catch up on. Our bill was $50 and we left a $10 tip. Both of us are executives for medical device companies and not bad or unruly customers. But the hostess came over after they put the bill down and said "you will have to pay and leave right now because we have someone for this table". She said we could go to the (very crowed bar) and have some drinks and finish our conversation. She did not offer to buy us a drink as she was basically throwing us out for taking too long to eat and talk. Both my friend and I said we have never been treated like this in a restaurant - EVER - and we both travel extensively for a living. I realize an hour and 45 minutes is a longer dinner but I remember my waitress days in college and you always allow people to finish their meal, conversations and decide when to leave. We also noticed no one was waiting for a table other than two women as we left and found out that those two women were "regulars" that always sat at our table so we had to go.
I'd not go back as I feel they were rude and do not respect customers. We have many other excellent Italian restaurants in town where you don't have to rush through dinner so they can turn a table for better customers. This is just bad customer service and not the message you want out for business......I'm very, very disappointed.
