Our family enjoys coming here. It's not particularly large or innovative, but the four different ecosystems are well laid out and certainly provides visual stimulation -- if not learning opportunities-- for my children.
The rainforest area is my favourite, especially in the dead of winter! My kids enjoy the penguin display and pressing their noses right up to the glass while watching them dive and swim. They also have a theatre that puts on free shows, and we recently saw a play about capybaras that was entertaining and original.
It doesn't take long to go through the entire place, so this museum is probably suited more for younger children. Quebec residents receive a discount rate. I'd say this place is worth checking out, at least once, if you are in the area.
