Coworker recommended this place and I will not be going back nor taking be taking any future recommendations from her. The place is very outdated looking and dusty. I came on a weekday afternoon and they said it had just been busy. I was tended to my pedicure right away. The color selection is limited and even more so for their gel polish. My tech asked me three times if I wanted an upgraded pedicure after I told her no from the beginning. While scrubbing my heels, she really only scrubbed my toe area and the front half of my feet, completely missing the heels. Even after pointing this out, there were still areas of my feet that were left untouched. There were areas of skin around the cuticle that was not trimmed that I had to point on to her. Towards the end of my pedicure a couple of customers walked in and I was rushed along with my polish job. I was asked to walk barefoot across their not so clean carpet to get to the manicure area which I refused. I don't even like to walk barefoot in my own home. In an attempt to put on my open-toe sandals, the polish got messed up on one of my toes. After fixing it, she again asked me to walk barefoot to the mani area and I conceded. But by this point, I was irate and had firmly made the decision that I would not be returning. Why not just give me the temporary pedicure sandals?
The manicure was decent but there was no interaction and seemed to want to hurriedly get to the waiting customers. I paid nearly $80 which is way more than I've ever paid for a mani/pedi. My nails started peeling on the side in 5 days and within a week I had to take the polish off because my nails looked so haggard. I normally soak off my own gel polish since the process is so easy. I had to try 3 soaks to remove most of the polish. It came off in pieces and some did not want to come off. My nails looked so bad that I wore gloves all the time at work until I got them redone.
There are better places in Charlotte.
