| - Khai Hoan Restaurant, new try for me. Very typical Asian "hole in the wall restuarant". I read some of the yelp reviews, looking forward to a good bowl of Pho, though I have to admit I was apprehensive reading about the "bug" sightings. We went for lunch, was greeted and seated right away, service was very good.
We started off with the Goi Cuon (spring rolls with shrimp, grilled pork, rice vermicelli and peanut sauce) which were yummy. We ordered the #4 Pho Tai Man (rare beef, well done beef and rice noodle soup) and the #6 Pho Tai Sach Bo Vien (rare beef, tripe, beef balls and rice noodle soup). The Pho was very good, served with fresh basil, sprouts, jalapenos and limes.
All in all, good service, good Pho and no sighting of creepy crawlers. I'll be back.
