The class was okay. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but that's not why I'm only giving it 3 stars. I had expected everyone had their own ingredients and you all prepare things together, but instead we broke into small groups and were each responsible for a different dish.
I just felt like they were trying to sell me kitchen tools more than teach me how to cook. It was like "oh, you can do this cool, specific task with this tool. It's available for $24.99." I don't blame them, but it definitely got old. I think I'm the only one in my group who did not buy anything. At least you get a small "student" discount.
