| - Beautiful grounds, great service and staff, and immaculate room-- Excellent!
Stayed at the Wild Horse Pass Sheraton for a conference and it was a stellar experience. I've been to the hotel to dine at Kai (a religious experience), but this was my first stay. It's truly is a gem and the displays sharing the Gila River Indian Community's history was worth the time to learn.
Check-in was a breeze and the employee from Lahaina was as quick and courteous as I've seen. I was up to my room quickly, which was comfortable, well-appointed, and clean. Then made my way down to the patios and water areas for a reception, which was just enjoyable. The food and service staff were both awesome!
Had time permitted, I would have stayed longer to enjoy the pools, golf, and shopping at the tribe's Premium Outlet. Had to head home for work, instead. Will be back to enjoy things another day.
(One knock: The restaurant in the lower area of the lobby insisted on holding my credit card, which I wasn't comfortable with. The gentleman who served us was rather pushy and, so, I relented. But I believe it violates PCI standards for physical card security since it was out of site, with a service person, and unmonitored.)
