  • This was a procedure (root canal) I was not looking forward to AT ALL!!! My dentist of 20+ years recommended Dr. Tyler and now I know why. He's the BEST. From the moment I stepped into his office I was impressed with how clean and welcoming it appeared. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist and then escorted into the "operating room". The nurse/technician greeted me and asked several medical type questions, took my blood pressure and prepared me for my introduction to Dr. Tyler. Dr. Tyler is outstanding in every aspect. He greeted me by my name, introduced himself and then we chatted about everything but the procedure. Then, once I was relaxed Dr. Tyler told me what to expect during the procedure and, surprisingly, there were no surprises. AND, despite all that I had heard about root canals and pain I experienced very little, if any. Under normal circumstances my review would end here but I can't resist a subtlety I noticed while entering his Scottsdale Office--Dr. Tyler's Suite number is 230. I instantly translated that in my mind to "tooth-hurty" but didn't dare to pass along that really old, corny and awful joke/observation. I'll let those of you who read this review and are fortunate enough to select Dr. Tyler as your Endodontist tell him this bad joke as he has probably heard it hundreds of times, if not more.
