The portions *seem* okay, but actually they aren't that great (they really cheap out on meat).
I've given them a couple chances, but both times I've been very disappointed by how stingy they can be -- it's almost all sauce! Come on, Mint Thai, you can do better than that! I can understand being frugal with seafood, but ...chicken?
It's not just with their entrees, but with their beverages. I got a $3.95 Thai tea which was 3/4 ice...on one of the coldest days of December. Is the tea made of gold? Mint Thai, for what special occasion are you squirreling away this cheap beverage?
Sigh. It's tasty overall, but I just feel awful paying the same price as other Thai restaurants for *truly* half the food.
