This review is in regards to the infant room. Luckily, we relocated and had to remove our 7 month old from this daycare due to the following reasons (not an all inclusive list):
1.) Our gut feeling that it wasn't safe for our child
2.) Zero security whatsoever (we felt anyone could walk in and take our kid and nobody would notice). One day the door was propped wide open.
3.) The daycare providers are nice however, we did not get any sort of paper or documentation saying how much and when they ate, how many times they were wet or had a bowel movement during the day, and when/how long they napped for. Each time these questions would need to be asked.
4) The babies sit in the tiny room and do nothing (no exposure to activities like other daycares provided).
5) Not very friendly (except for Stephanie at the front desk she is very nice and friendly)
6) The final straw for pulling my 7 month old out of this daycare was when I stopped by to pick her up earlier than I usually do, I found her in her crib, laying on her stomach, her leg stuck in the side bars of the crib sleeping. When I woke her up she was balling (which she never happens if I wake her up). A 7 month old sleeping face down with her leg stuck in the crib is unsafe and the daycare providers said nothing.
I'm only writing this to warn you and to hopefully have this business improve their standards close to what all other quality daycares are doing. I guess you get what you pay for as this daycare is on the lower end at $210 per week. We are so much more happy with moving her to the current daycare. I'm surprised nothing serious has ever happened at McCormick (or so I guess I haven't heard of anything in my short time here). I wish I did not have to write this negative review as these are nice people but I feel the current four star yelp rating is inaccurate.
