Does Sears even read their sh*tty reviews? It's no wonder they are fighting to stay relevant and in business. I called them today at 11:15 am in a Friday... I called SIX times, pushed the buttons for customer service, hand tools and whatever else I could think of to get a human being on the phone to ask them about a return... And I got a fuggin answering machine, or the line simply rang and rang and rang then disconnected. I couldn't get a hold of ONE person at Sears!! Wth?
The I dial the 800 number of corporate and am met by a barrage of persistent auto prompts to discourage you from hanging on to talk to a human.... After hitting the "0" about 20 times, I finally get a human being.... But of course I'm talking to someone that barely speaks English and they can't even answer a simple question.
Sears used to be about "made in the US", and was the last remnant of good ol American shopping. I've tried to support them over the years as they struggled, but now I'm done with Sears, and their Made in China tools, and their complete lack of customer service. They have destroyed the last remaining bit of respect I had for them.
To all the Sears workers... I hear Amazon is hiring.
