  • I sit here just hours after my reading at my desk from work and it's impossible to concentrate so I've decided to write my review instead. 5 months ago my boyfriend, who I thought was the man I was going to spend forever with, and I broke up and 2 days later my mom found out she had cancer. Unfortunately her battle was short and passed away 3 weeks ago. Needless to say I've been a hot mess and was looking for any sort of hope/guidance so after reading these reviews I had to experience Terri for myself. While reading these reviews everyone mentioned this list or words/phrases Terri has written before you arrive but no one elaborates so I thought I would. For example, on my list some of the words she wrote were Grandma/Mom, horses, hands, cook, bake, jewelry, garden, roses. The night before I wrote a letter to my mom, I call her mama, and told her I would be meeting with someone and if she could mention tortillas, her jewelry and/or Selena (Quintanilla not Gomez I know weird but whatever) I would know it was her. Everything came up!! Including Selena! In her words, "your mom is funny she said Selena is in a better place now too" that was after her bringing up the fact that I came across her Selena shirt that I never knew she had. She said that I would be cooking something in her honor or to remember her by, I inherited all my mom's tortillas making things so I could make them someday. She said your mom keeps making this motion "insert motion of creating little masa balls for tortillas and how my mom would stretch them before she place them on the griddle." She said do you call your mom "mama", because she keeps saying "mama says" and I usually use the word mom. She validated my mom was there then we spoke about me and what I need from life and what I need to do to help myself get out of the funk and what's to come. Oh remember she wrote "hands"? Well before we closed the casket all 6 of my mom's children put our hands on hers and took a picture because we all thought her hands were special. I didn't tell Terri because I just noticed that on the paper she wrote. I can go on and on of the examples but I'll stop now. This reading has lifted my spirits in so many ways and although she said that guy was not the one I'm meant to be with (and that crushed me because I was hoping he was) I still left feeling hopeful which is not how I felt walking in there. Thank you so much, Terri!
