  • We needed a change of scenes at our extended stay in Vegas so we dropped in NY NY for a few days. I had stayed here before and its a decent hotel. If your looking to party the night away and sleeping is just a second thought, then this is an excellent hotel. Right in the middle of action on the south side of the strip and now close to the Aria and Vdara, its a pretty good choice. I ended up getting the rooms for about 40 a night which is excellent! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are fairly spacious. If you are looking for a hotel where you are cruise around or take advantage of some of the amenities, this might not be the place for you. No buffet =(, the pool area is very weak, the show Zumanity is adult in nature so its with your significant other only, and the food places are mostly quick stop places (only good place is Nine Fine Irishmen, but even that is heavily geared towards mostly drinking. After all your in an "Irish Pub"). In think in the end, it really depends on what you are looking for. At minimum, I need a clean hotel that is nice looking, located on the main section of the strip, provides a roof over my head when I need to crash, and has excellent customer service and housekeeping... and NY NY definitely delivers.
