| - Crepes and mimosas and beers and sodas and...there is almost too much yumminess packed into this little purple paradise. Yes, crepes both savory and sweet are the main attraction, but it is the little extras that thrilled me.
For crepes, you choose from savory, sweet or breakfast (available all the time) all around $7 a piece, and each one is definitely a meal. The selection makes this the perfect stop for any time of day. I ordered the Monterey which featured bacon, but not because of the bacon. I actually selected it for the serrano pepper. I wanted something with a kick, and I was pleasantly surprised with the nice heat. Every bite was delicious, and it was served with a bowl of juicy, sweet watermelon. Thoughtful touch: they have a video camera installed above the crepe station so you can see your crepe being made from above on a TV screen! It's like a Food Network studio!
But, what I truly adore about this spot are the beverages, including the adult kind. They have at least 6 craft soda pops, a small and tasty beer menu, wines, champagnes and mimosas in five flavors! This really takes brunch to a buzzy level of fun. If you're indecisive, you can get a sampler, but I went with the pomegranate. If I had had a designated driver, I would have had 3 more! Plus, they have big containers of ice lemon and cucumber waters. The perfect touch for the crazy heat!
If you have "crepe" expectations, I am pretty sure they'll get met here!
