  • Went here for lunch today. I had never visited the old location, but I'm glad to see the restaurant is back and in a great new location. There was soccer on the big screen, and cold beer on tap. Really enjoyed my fish and chips, but for an "authentic" British Pub, I was disappointed that I couldn't substitute mushy peas (a $3 side item) for cole slaw (also a $3 side item) for my entree. I've had mushy peas with my fish and chips all over London. I've never been served cole slaw with them in the UK before. They seriously ought to consider giving you an option. They take so many steps to seem authentic, but they totally blow it by not allowing authentic sides with the fish and chips. Still, service was good. We'll be back. Hopefully they'll get it together on offering fish and chips with mushy peas, the way you'd really get it in London.
